Very nice tribute car to the original 1966 Shelby GT350 H. That's about the only way you are going to be able to own something like that, so starting with a 1965 Fastback with good bones is a great idea.

I had a 70 R/T CHARGER 440 Six Pack v code 4 speed 410 gears. Hemi Orange vinyl top delete. Had the inserts on hood blacked out just like this one . Racer brown cam. 30 over TRW pistons. South Houston Police cars looked like they were driving in reverse. Car came from Wichita Falls Texas,My brother bought it from the original owner. I bought it from him when he got stationed in Germany The Charger also had a factory rear window defogger and locking gas cap that was a heavy keyed cylinder that inserted in the filler tube under the pop up access cover

I would love to have that toy! My concern is that if you live in a state that requires inspection stickers, there could be some issues that might force you to take out some of the “fun” factors of the car before you can street it. Is there a price on it yet? Didn’t see the price on the website.

The body is very similar to my 67 Buick Rivera

Still my favorite body style of all the Corvettes. The '68 had a lot of issues from the factory and the production run was cut short for the '69. I had an early '69 car, an L46 convertible. It had a lot of '68 specific parts still in it. Mostly trim and interior bits, but it made sourcing parts a bit of a challenge. Of course, mine was mostly original with the vinyl hardtop. Apparently convertibles should have a vinyl hardtop to look like the ragtop--because it was the '60s.

In 1979 my brother who was 17 at the time traded a 1978 Mercury Comet to a family friend for a 1971 Dodge Demon same everything as this one showing except while rebuilding the motor found out that Dodge had put bigger pistons in motor. They called it a factory overbore. Does anyone remember??
